WANTED: FIRST RESPONDERS & FIRE FIGHTERS

Rosendale Volunteer Fire Dept. & EMS
Seeking Volunteer Firefighters & EMS Personnel

For many years the Rosendale Volunteer Fire Department has protected our surrounding communities from Fire Emergencies utilizing all volunteers that stepped forward answering the call for their community; whether it be day or night, weekend or holiday.  Today the Rosendale Fire Department continues to provide those same Fire/Rescue and Emergency Medical services with those same community volunteers.

The Rosendale Fire Department is accepting applications for future eligible volunteer firefighters and Medical First Responder providers.

We are looking for positive & dedicated individuals who believe in our Fire and EMS mission to serve and protect our community, and to be a part of our fire department team.

You will learn some important life skills, such as how to prevent and fight fires, how to rescue people and sustain them in life threatening situations, and how to operate state of the art firefighting equipment.

Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older, live in the Rosendale Fire District, and have a valid driver's license.

Eligible candidates selected, must be willing to complete the State of Wisconsin Entry Level Firefighter Two Part training program at one of our local community training colleges.

EMS Medical First Responders must complete the Wisconsin Medical First Responder Certified course.

For an application, or more information on how you can help the Rosendale Volunteer Fire Department and your community, please contact Chief Dave McCoy at 920-913-4381 or any one of our Rosendale Volunteer Firefighers or EMS providers for more information.

Dog and Cat Licenses

Provide more security for your pet.  Lost pets wearing current licenses find their way home sooner than those without.  Pets without a collar and tags are often assumed to be a stray and never make their way home to their family.  Let people know that you care about your pet.  Keep your animal's vaccinations and licenses current.  Place a collar with current tags on you pet.  If we can locate you, we can get your pet home to you.  Licenses can be obtained from the Village Clerk.  A record of vaccination is required.

Ordinance #102 now requires ALL DOGS & CATS to be licensed.  Residents will be allowed only 3 dogs or 3 cats, or any combination thereof.  Licenses can be obtained from the Village Clerk durning normal business hours.  A record of vaccination is required.

Dog Licenses:  $5.00 each for Spayed or Neutered, $10.oo each if not Spayed or Neutered
Cat Licenses:  $5.00 each for Spayed or Neutered, $10.oo each if not Spayed or Neutered
~Late fees:  $10.00 per animal if registered AFTER March 31st~

In addition, if you fail to get a valid Village license for each dog or cat you own by March 31st, you may be issued a citation for violating Village Ordinance 102, resulting in a court appearance and fine of $187.00 per non-licensed pet.  Call 920-872-2740 if you have any questions.
